Here is a terrible Brahmin-hating scene starring Asrani and Shakti Kapoor from Masterji (1985), a remake of the Tamil super-hit “Mundhani Mudichu”. It suggests that if you attack innocent Pandits, they will appreciate you as if you are as great as Baba Gorakhnath. Why, pandits themselves must volunteer to be attacked, isn’t it?
Attacking Sanatan Dharma came easy to dialogue writers like Kadar Khan, who later took to Sharia and became Islamist preachers. Hence, they never framed an Urduwood joke on Moulvis and Prophet.
