-Ma Sita and Lord Ram shown indulging in double-meaning talks. When he says ‘khol’ (open), audience erupts in hoots and claps -Ma Sita shown celebrating her kidnapping by Ravan, calls him a ‘real man’ as opposed to her husband -Lakshman shown approaching Ma Sita inappropriately, causing her to dodge him in fear This and more was part of a play staged by students of IIT Bombay on 31 March The obnoxious group doing this renamed the characters to Aghora instead of Ravan, Raaho instead of Ram etc - the same not-so-clever tactic deployed by that colossal disaster of a film, Adipurush As high court had observed in that case - you keep the story same, era same, characterisation same, but change the names of characters. You think people are fools? I cannot believe that these IIT students didn’t follow what happened with Adipurush. The fact that they have down this, simply means that Adipurush fiasco was not enough of a deterrent to repeat mockery of Ramayana or take it to a new low Urging @iitbombay to investigate it, and treat it with the same seriousness as you would have done if these students had mocked Quran or Hadis in a similar manner I can confirm that multiple complaints have already reached the management. It’s time for action now Video by @IITBforBharat
